Dr. Hernandez is the Principal Researcher and Founder of Educo Research. She has fourteen years of professional experience in U.S. public and private higher education institutions in fields such as educational research, assessment and evaluation, as well as student leadership development, multiculturalism, diversity, social justice training, and program and fiscal management. She earned a doctoral degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in the field of Higher Education Administration, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Knox College.

Jake White
Senior Program Officer @LISC Houston
Jake leads LISC Houston's Great Opportunities (GO) Neighborhoods program. Jake brings many years of experience from the municipal, political and nonprofit sectors. He is a graduate of Texas State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Geography with concentration in Urban and Regional Planning and also a graduate of Texas A&M University where he completed his Master’s of Urban Planning with an Emphasis in Housing and Community Development. He finds his joy in seeing and helping highlight the intricacies of neighborhoods.
